Monitis' Web LoadTester is a leading on-demand web load and stress testing software as a service that uses Cloud-computing power for instant web applications and network testing. At a user’s request, Web LoadTester adds machines from Amazons server farm to process the requested number of virtual users. Web LoadTester is able to simulate a large number of virtual visitors, each with their own unique user name/login and task.  Users can build tests using this tool to simulate large numbers of different users with different logins and jobs.

Web Load Tester is intended to help web application developers design their programs to certain levels of performance.  We can simulate different amounts of user activity for each test that they run.  One such test might be to have a thousand visitors on the site at any given time, each randomly clicking links.  We will present the customer with charts illustrating the important metrics during the test, including the number of requests and errors each minute and the mean response time as measured in seconds.

Subscribing to Montis' on-demand Web Load Tester allows self-service testing of URLs at your convenience (test any time, pay as you go).  Users can select a time frame for the test, specify the number of concurrent simulated users, customize load test scripts (and use the same script more than once), and get fast results and feedback without waiting.

We’ve designed our Web Load Tester software-as-a-service to be easy to understand and simple to use.  You shouldn't have any trouble running a Web load test on your own.  Enter all of the URLs and parameters that you need to have tested, including the number of users, embedded resources for each URL, and the length of your test.  You can start the test whenever you want, continuously monitor progress, and halt the test at any time.  You can then download a detailed test report or have it emailed to you, and the report will be archived so that you can easily compare test results from different times.

The suite offers SOAP load testing with simulated heavy traffic in real time, allowing webmasters to determine how performance can be optimized. Our Web Load Tester has a scheduling feature. The feature allows users to schedule future testing in three different ways:

• One-time scheduling allows the users to schedule a single test on the chosen date and time. It can be used to schedule a test at night, during low traffic hours.
• Periodic scheduling lets the users test URLs recurrently according to the period the user selects. The period can be every second or third week, every night, the first/last day of the week/month/year, and so on. Users may schedule a cautionary load test, say every Sunday, to ensure new releases do not compromise website load handling capacities.
• Periodic Cron scheduling is for users that prefer to use Cron Expressions to set times and dates for scheduled load tests
